All you need are a few tools:
- Ratchet and 13-mm socket
- 13-mm wrench
- Set of Allen wrenches
- Torque wrench
Begin With The Front Bar Assembly
1 – Take your upright bar and slide it into the two mounting holes.
2 – Loosely attach the hardware for the moment and repeat for both sides.
3 – Loosely assembled, you can now set it on the truck.
4 – Before you can install it, remove the caps on the factory rails.
5 – Press the little button to get the caps to pop out. Repeat both sides.
6 – Attach the two bolt plates on each side.
7 – Set the cross rail onto the bed and align the bolts.
8 – Loosely attach the front crossbar using the serrated flange nuts.
Next, Rear Bar Assembly
9 – Assemble and install the rear crossbars the same way as the front.
10 – Place the top rail and align it to the mounting hole of your choice.
11 – Loosely attach the cross bar.
12 – Install the side rails between the two uprights.
Once you have set the cargo rack where you want it, tighten up the screws, and then follow with a torque wrench and tighten up to the following specs:
- M8 Fasteners are going to get torqued to 15 to 18 foot-pounds
- M10 Fasteners are going to get torqued to 35 to 40 foot-pounds
